Built in 1870, this home has been partially restored to reflect how it would have looked in the late 19th century. It contains objects, photographs and papers from the history of the county. There is no charge for tours. To schedule tours at other times, contact Paul Fellows at 618-524-7203.

Featured speaker is John Schwegman. His talk about the Natural History of Puerto Rico will cover the wildlife of the island with an emphasis on birds. Everyone interested in history, birds or Puerto Rico is invited to attend the free meeting. Meeting is usually the first Monday, but was delayed a week due to Labor Day.
