Celebrate the bountiful fall harvest with seasonally inspired dishes during a progressive tasting along the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail.

Eleven wineries of the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail have paired up to create a wonderful weekend of savory wine and food pairings.  Come for a progressive tasting and enhance your appreciation and enjoyment of their wines paired with delicious samples at this unique event.

Tickets are $35 per person before Oct. 17th – advance purchase only. Tickets will be $40 after Oct. 17thPayments can be made on their website and sales will end on October 31st.

Please select your starting winery.  This is where you will pick up your hard tickets and wine glass and enter the random drawing. You will use your ticket to taste at each of the 11 participating wineries on Saturday and Sunday.

Each ticket purchase includes:  a souvenir 20th Anniversary wine glass, 11 samples of wine paired with a seasonally inspired culinary delight at 11 unique wineries and one entry into the random drawing to win an overnight stay at Rocky Comfort Cabins.

How the wine trail event works: You must be 21 to participate.
You will receive a sample of their favorite dish paired with a sample of wine at each winery; and entered into the random drawing; Transportation is NOT included in the price. Visit the wineries in any order you wish. Take your ticket and wine glass with you to each location.

Alto Vineyards: Chambourcin (Dry Red) or Black-N-Blush (Sweet Blush) paired with Meatballs in a Blackberry/Black Cherry Glaze

Pomona Winery: Orchard Spice (Sweet White) paired with a Savory Thanksgiving Dinner Samosa

Owl Creek Vineyard:  Seyval Blanc (Semi-Dry White) paired with a Thai-Inspired Spicy Polenta Cake

Hedman Vineyards:  Chambourcin (Dry Red) or Vidal Blanc (Sweet White) paired with Butternut Squash Soup

Blue Sky Vineyard:  Cream Sherry (Sweet Sherry) paired with Bread Pudding

StarView Vineyards:  Chardonel (Dry White) or Moonlight White (Sweet White) paired with Pork Sliders and a Harvest Apple Glaze made using Local Fare

Kite Hill Vineyards:  Chambourcin (Dry Red) or White Kite (Sweet White) paired with Potato Corn Chowder and a Savory Scone

Orlandini Vineyard:  Chambourcin (Dry Red) or Rosso Gustoso (Semi-Sweet Red) paired with Cranberry Apple Pie with Ginger Cream Sauce

Hickory Ridge Vineyard:  Chambourcin (Dry Red) or Traminette (Sweet White) paired with Ambassador’s Chili

Rustle Hill Winery:  Seyval Blanc (Dry White) or Seyval Blanc (Sweet White) paired with a Creamy Garlic-Herb Bourcin Cheese,  with Fresh Local Peaches and Sun Dried Tomatoes on a Toasty French Baguette with Thyme Infused Local Honey and Fresh Basil

Von Jakob Winery:  Due to a previously scheduled event, Von Jakob Winery will not be participating in this Wine & Food Pairing Experience.

PLEASE NOTE: Each winery tasting room policies remain in effect during wine trail event and are not included in the ticket price. Some wineries charge for a full wine.
