Adopt a resolution for the Metropolis Chamber of Commerce Annual Christmas Parade             on Saturday, December 5th with a rain date of Sunday, December 6th @ 1:30 pm

Report on arranging meetings with Representative Phelps and several local businesses to   discuss recent natural gas charge increases by Liberty

Report on meeting with Congressman Shimkus

Report on meeting with representatives of the Planet, local realtors, local business and      government representatives to kick- off plans to revitalize our uptown

Acknowledgment of retirement of John Merriweather

            Industrial

Adopt a motion granting the Port District exclusive authority for a period of 180 days to negotiate a lease of wharfage rights on behalf of the City and report back to the City Council.

Water, Light & Street

Adopt a motion accepting the report of HMG concerning the water filtration plant and directing HMG to provide the Council with a phased schedule for the recommended actions.

Adopt a motion to proceed with first staff scheduling changes recommended by HMG.

Motion to approve repairs of clarifier at Disposal Plant as recommended by HMG at a cost not to exceed $31,000.

Motion to approve bid on the Interceptor Manhole Rehabilitation as presented from HMG to Visu-Sewer of Missouri, LLC in the amount of $540,350.00

Police & Fire

Motion to accept/reject a purchase request from the Metropolis Police Department for a pickup truck – low quote was from Ward (formerly Farmers) in the amount of $28,521.00 (item included in 2016 budget)

Education Committee

Motion to accept/reject disbursement for the Miss Metropolis Scholarship Program in the budgeted amount of $3,000.00
