Come to beautiful southernmost Illinois this spring to celebrate one of the state’s great natural wonders! The 15th Annual Cache River Nature Fest will feature a variety of programs, including live animal exhibits and hands-on activities for nature lovers of all ages. The event focuses on the Cache River Wetlands and the region’s unique diversity of plants and animals.
From 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday, May 7, staff and volunteers from Cypress Creek National Wildlife Refuge, Friends of the Cache and the Cache River State Natural Area will provide regional information, guided tours and many wildlife watching opportunities.
