Come and enjoy a free concert on select Thursdays at the Wilson Riverfront Stage at the foot of Broadway in Paducah, KY. Bring your lawn chairs or enjoy the steps at the riverfront.  Opening band from 6:00-7:00 pm and Headliner from 7:00-8:30 pm.

Chris Cavanaugh grew up listening to Garth Brooks, George Strait, and Brooks & Dunn. This influence of 90’s country songs and his love for music had Cavanaugh making the trip from his hometown of Springfield, Missouri to Tennessee just months after graduating high school. Shortly after graduating from Middle Tennessee State University, Chris signed his first songwriting deal. Over the next few years Chris spent his time on music row honing his craft as a writer.  He has shared the stage with every country artist in the game including Jake Owen, Lee Brice, Frankie Ballard, Justin Moore, Eric Church, Kip Moore; the list is endless.  Website

The band features three-part vocal harmonies, narrative lyricism, and a passion for song-craft that creates organic music that is equally accessible and innovative. Phoebe is skilled at taking seemingly disparate elements and pulling them together into a dazzling kaleidoscope of lush, coherent sound and rhythm patterns. The result is music that swells, crashes and breathes organically under Phoebe’s soulful, plaintive voice. Based in Nashville, singer/songwriter Andrew Ripp began his music career in Palatine, Illinois, where he broke through writing mainstream pop songs for other artists. His songs were featured on American Idol and One Tree Hill, and made the Billboard Hot 100 when his music was covered by Ryan Cabrera. He has toured across the U.S., Europe, and even the Middle East and has released four albums.  Website

Wendell Bigsby-Church and Katrice Donaldson brought Everyday People together in 2011 through their mutual love of music and performance. Wendell “Bizz,” eldest son of Nashville legend Jimmy Church, has opened up for the Godfather of Soul, James Brown, the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, the King of Rock-n-Roll, Lil’ Richard and many more. Katrice has sung backup for Yolanda Adams on the Dove Awards, BeBe Winans, Kirk Franklin and many other elite artists.  Website

City of the Sun is an instrumental post-rock trio based in Brooklyn, NY. Formed in 2011, they gained popularity in NYC playing the streets and subways, then graduated to selling out major New York venues. Performing at Ted Talk conferences and Sofar Sounds secret shows helped to bring their worldly, “genre-bending” sound to more ears––cross-country and world-wide. Their live LP, “to the sun and all the cities in between” was released in March 2016, landing at #12 on the Billboard Jazz Albums chart.  Website
