Annual Rebuilding Together Benefit Banquet is Nov. 18

Doors open: 6:00 p.m.
Dinner: 7:00 p.m. 

Location: Baymont Inn Banquet Hall, 203 E. Front St., Metropolis

Dinner will be prepared by the Elks Lodge and served by celebrity waiters and waitresses from throughout the area at 7:00 p.m. Silent Auction items can be viewed as early as 6:00 p.m. when the doors open.

Menu includes appetizers, including domestic cheese and crackers and fruit with dipping sauce; marinated pork chop, au gratin potatoes, green beans, salad, and roll, along with dessert. Drink stations will be set up with tea, lemonade and water. Individuals may bring additional appetizers for their table.

This year’s event will be “BYOB” by either the celebrity waiters/waitresses, the table host or by individual guests.

Tables will be decorated, usually in a Christmas theme, and servers will compete for tips and decorating prizes.

All silent auction items are donated by local businesses and the proceeds from the auction and dinner are used to purchase materials to make repairs to homes of elderly, disabled and low-income residents.
