Massac Unit #1 Registration Dates for 2018/2019

Tuesday Aug. 7, or Wednesday August 8
Tue. 5-7 p.m.
Wed. 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Register at all Massac Unit #1 elementary/junior high buildings.
Parents of new and returning students should register their children during this time. Registration fee is $17.


Tuesday-Friday, August 7-10
8:30-11:30 a.m. and 1-2:30 pm.
Tue. Aug. 7 – Seniors
Wed. Aug. 8 – Juniors
Thu. Aug. 9 – Sophomores
Fri. Aug. 10 – Freshmen
Register at Massac County High School
Registration fee is $20. The annual parking pass is $15.

Wednesday, August 15th will be the first day of student attendance from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Before registering at their school building, new students must first prove residency with Lisa Monkman at the Massac School Board Office located at 401 Metropolis Street in Metropolis. For residency requirements, call Lisa Monkman at 618-524-9376, ext. 101.

New students will also need to bring a valid, state-issued birth certificate.

Physical forms are required for all new students, and returning kindergarten and sixth grade.

Blood lead screenings are required of children below the age of 6 if they have not been previously screened.

Cafeteria account deposits should also be made at this time. Free and reduced applications will also be available during registration.

Unit #1 School District is also encouraging parents to share their cell phone numbers for emergency contact information as well as their email addresses, if available.
