Faith Cares Mentoring Lunch Buddy Program
Faith Cares Mentoring is a multi-denominational, Christian faith-based program that serves the community in a variety of ways with the help of AmeriCorps Service Members and community volunteers. Adult Lunch Buddies volunteer to eat lunch at school at least twice a month with a child in the  first through fourth grades. This extra adult attention received from a positive role model will hopefully motivate the child to do well in school and later succeed in life. Adult Lunch Buddies are needed at Brookport, Maple Grove, and Metropolis Elementary Schools.  For more information about this program and other volunteer opportunities,  call 618-524-8763 or email: faithcaresmentoring@gmail.com.
